Install XAMPP on Ubuntu 18.04

Step 1. First, ensure your system and apt package lists are fully up-to-date by running the following:

apt-get update -y
apt-get upgrade -y

Step 2. Installing XAMPP on Ubuntu 18.04.

First, download the XAMPP package by executing the wget command:


Change the execution rights if the installation file, So we can run it as executable file:

sudo chmod +x

Run installation process by executing the following command:


A installation set up dialog box will open. In the dialog box, click next(for each step) and move through the process of installation. Once XAMPP is installed, click finish:
